That’s
Me

When you’re sitting in the dark,
Looking at the stars,
I feel your love surrounding me.
So, I’ll send a little sign
To show you I am fine.
Many things are real that we can’t see.
Well, you miss me. I’m not that far.
You can’t touch me but
You feel my heart.
This bird has burst its cage asunder.
Eyes wide and filled with wonder!
Think of me and feel a little breeze,
That’s me.
I know some might say
I was taken away
And ask how this can be just or fair.
Well these mysteries abound
But I’m not lost but found.
And my hope is that you won’t despair.
Well, you miss me. I’m not that far.
You can’t touch me but you feel my heart.
An eagle flies overhead.
That song I sang gets in your head.
You get inspired and ask how can this be,
That’s Me.
And when that day comes when
you’re born to this world eternal,
You will find me in an ocean of light.
From the highest peak
We’ll gaze on what no pen can describe.
So that’s it from here,
Now you know I’m near,
As well I’m in great company.
From time to time I’ll drop you a line.
Soon begins our sweet eternity.
Well, you miss me. I’m not that far.
You can’t touch me but you feel my heart.
This bird has burst its cage asunder.
Eyes wide and filled with wonder.
Think of me and feel a little breeze.
That’s me!
